1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified. (NLT)
Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (NKJ)
True victory for 2016 Sermon 2
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (NKJ)
One Accord is a body of believers united in one accord in fellowship, in prayer, in worship, in service and in love. We are hungry to see the power of God move in our city. We are dedicated to reaching the lost, hurting and wounded sheep. We will do whatever it takes to win some with sound doctrinal preaching of God’s word. We will do whatever it takes to reach children, teens and their parents. We will reach out in love to those who feel unlovable, unforgivable and untouchable.
