We will start letting people know meeting times and dates in our FaceBook Group.

Welcome to the 1st Responder Ministry Page

Our goal is to reach out to the local First Responder Community and provide a place to De-compress, Support, and show the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The stressful enviornment that they work in can cause an extraordinary amount of stress on them, and they need an outlet to be able to feel supported, and loved.
This is a flyer that will explain what services and support we are providing to our local 1st Responders. You can download and share.

If you are not aware, here is some statistics

Below are some statistics that might startle you. There are other agencies and other institutions that show you many more reasons that the experiences that they see or hear, can cause some mental and physical health issues. And we want to help.

From Institute of Health

Dealing with PSTD, one study showed approximately15% of emergency personal (paramedics), 13% of Rescue Teams, 7% Firefighters, and 5% Police Officers.

From the INH an article

The article called Mental Disorders and Mental Health Promotion in Police Officers, and it says that "Public Safety personal were found to have a higher rate of physical health problems."

National Fallen FireFighters Foundation

They report, in an article, they estimate that 100 Firefighters will commit suicide in a year.

De-Compression & Relaxing

We are not providing professional counseling. We want to give our 1st Responders a place to go and sit and relax. We can offer more infomation about Jesus, if asked.

Meet the team.
